Cart to Quote — Privacy policy

Effective 21 August 2026 · Applies to the Cart to Quote browser extension published by EstimateSheets.

The short version

Cart to Quote works entirely on your computer. It does not have a server, does not create accounts, and does not send your carts, quotes, clients or business details anywhere.

What the extension reads

When you press Read the cart on this page, the extension reads the product names, quantities and prices shown on the cart page you are currently viewing on a supported retail site (Home Depot, Home Depot Canada, Lowe's, RONA, Amazon). It only does this when you ask it to; it does not run in the background or on other pages.

What the extension stores

Your business profile (name, contact details, logo), your quote defaults, your current draft and your saved quotes are stored in Chrome's local extension storage on your device. Removing the extension deletes this data. You can also delete saved quotes at any time from the Saved tab.

What leaves your computer

What we do not do

Optional layout report

If a cart fails to read, the Copy layout report button copies a description of the page's structure (element names and attributes, with emails and phone numbers scrubbed) to your clipboard so you can email it to us. It is only sent if you choose to send it.
